You’re not “too” good to audition in person. You’re not “too” good to grow your business. I do what it takes to go for mine, whether that’s going to an audition in the city, cutting lunch short, jumping into a hotel closet for some silence, etc. Regardless of the circumstances, I make it work for me, my business and my brand. No excuses. If you think you’re too big to be doing any of this, your mentality is in the wrong place and the #hustletrain is leaving you behind. While I am still young in the game (5 years and counting) I make this videos and this blog for those that are starting out. Don’t compare yourself to the war horses that have been doing this for decades. Sometimes their advice won’t help you because they’re on a level you haven’t attained just yet. And that’s okay! Just be aware that there are elitists out there and you have to learn to filter them out. Not all advice is good advice.
I don’t claim to know it all and I never will. I will advise to the best of my abilities but if I think there is someone else out there that can help you out, I will guide you accordingly. The point is to collaborate and share information with each other. That is the whole purpose of networking on social media. It’s not
to collect numbers… it’s to learn, grow and support each other.
Know who your teammates are and keep them in the cut. That’s what will help you move further in your business.
